Mulligatawny Soup

If you are jaded from typical soups then you need to try this recipe of Mulligatawny Soup. It’s a curry essence soup with healthy ingredients so must give it an attempt.Soup 01

INGREDIENTS:
Onion 1 chopped
Tomato 1 chopped
Bay leaf 1
Chicken stocks 4 cups
Chilli powder 1 tsp heaped
Turmeric 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste ½ tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Butter 2 tbsp heaped
Boiled rice 3 tbsp
Boiled chicken 3 tbsp
Gram flour 4 tbsp

COOKING DIRECTIONS:

1) Heat butter.

2) Fry chopped onion till light golden.

3) Add ginger garlic paste, vinegar, tomato, chilli powder, salt, turmeric, bay leaf and stir.

4) Now add stock and curry leaves, cook till boiling.

5) Make paste with gram flour and little water, add to the soup stirring continuously, cook till soup thick.

6) Remove from fire, add lemon juice and strain the soup.

Serve hot and before serving, add shredded chicken and boiled rice.
