Red Chilli Fish

Here is yet another deliciously made fried fish recipe. Where fish is coated with gram flour, egg and spices and deep fried till crisp, served with a red hot chili sauce. Its mouth watering, spicy and sizzling at the same time.Red Fish 01

Ingredients:

Fish ½ kg
Latif Cooking Oil ¼ cup
Gram flour 1 cup
Egg 2
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Red pepper 1 tbsp (crushed)
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
For Sauce:
Dry red chilies 10 – 12 (boiled)
Lemon juice ¼ cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp (roasted)
Brown sugar 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red food color few drops
Onion 1 (sauted, chopped)

COOKING DIRECTIONS:

1) Cut fish into small pieces and keep aside.

2) In a pan put together gram flour, eggs, ginger garlic paste, red pepper, salt, coriander leaves and a little water.

3) Make into batter and keep aside.

4) Now dip fish pieces in batter and deep fry till golden brown.

5) Place on a platter.

For Sauce: Blend together dry red chilies, lemon juice, oil, cumin seeds, brown sugar, salt, red food color and onion.

Blend well, and pour red chili sauce over fried fish.

Ready to serve.
